Is this the beginning or the end?
Now that I'm done with password hell, I can finally write something today. Where do I even begin, especially with the state of affairs in this country? An ICE agent just killed a 37-year-old white woman with three children in Minneapolis, and the next day, two people were shot and wounded by another ICE agent in Portland, Oregon. The claim is that these two people have ties with the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. The claim for the Minneapolis killing is that Renee Good ran over Jonathan Ross, an ICE agent and Iraq war veteran, with her SUV (video proves that she did not even hit the agent). It's hard to know what to believe anymore, especially because Donald Trump and Kristi Noem lie outright even when the obvious facts are staring them straight in the face. Both of them seem to want a civil war, no doubt confident that they and their Republican allies will be victorious, which will offer them the chance to create a male-dominated United States to their liking -- only American-born, white, heterosexual, conservative, Christian, with all the gun rights a red-blooded American could salivate over.
The United States is losing its foundation as a democracy. We are heading toward a dictatorship, with Trump as Lord and Master. His directive to abduct Venezuelan leader Maduro and his wife is just a mask to take command of the Venezuelan oil reserves. Some people are talking about this abduction as being a sin against international law, but Trump believes he is above international law, any law actually (he even said this out loud and in print). He only believes in following his own morals (what morals?) and his mind (that's damn scary since sometimes it appears he's losing it).
I know there are a lot of people who are convinced that Trump and his ICE (aka the Gestapo) army are making this country better because he is "getting rid" of all those big, bad, mean-ass criminals (aka illegal immigrants). Anyone with a thinking brain knows that not all illegal immigrants in this country are murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gang members, thieves, etc. etc. etc. That's a ploy to get the angry people in this country even angrier. If Trump wants a civil war, he and his merry band of puppets are going about it in a way that will almost guarantee the breakdown of the United States we once knew.
