Working Girl (sorta)

A couple of weeks ago I started a seasonal job - the same one I had last year - reading and scoring FCAT essays written by 8th grade Florida students. It's fun, exhausting, and often difficult, and it's only temporary. What happens after it's over? My long search for a full-time, permanent (if there is such a think anymore) job has been a fruitless endeavor over the last 20 months.

Right now all I can do is put one foot in front of the other and carry on, while trying to find some meaning in long-term unemployment and possible foreclosure. But I'll tell ya, sometimes I just don't wanna think anymore.
