Rejected

Just received a letter of rejection from a potential employer. I really wanted this job so I'm disappointed and sad. I have to wonder if I'm encountering age discrimination. This is not my first rejection. But then, I have a friend who is at least 13 years younger than me, a creative person like myself, who has also been unable to find a job. I guess it's the down economy and that means more people applying for the same job. Probably time to create my own job. Probably time to move on to something else. Probably way past time to finally get serious about who I am and what I can do.
